This is a great idea Hanaa! I like that we get to see a gallery of everyone's desserts!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it'll be fun to see everyone's post in one glance and be able to click and visit each post :o)
DeleteI agree, this new format is fantastic - the gallery is making me drool! I love seeing everyone's pictures in one go - we have so many creative minds in our little baking family :)
DeleteStopping by. You are going to like the linky. It makes life a lot easier. Sounds like an interesting recipe.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, My post is up. The cupcakes are delicious, love the frosting! A great idea with the linky!
ReplyDeleteOohhhh I love the link-y thingy.. LOVE IT, and I'm totally stealing it fro Gutsy Cooks!
ReplyDeleteThese were good..very good..and the best part.. FAST TO MAKE!
I am going to be a day late with my post....won't get these made until Sunday. They look good!
ReplyDeleteWill make them today, just a quick question;
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone that made them with Dutched cacao? That's what I have (of course... being Dutch and living in Holland :-D)
I've looked up different stuff and they say replace natural by Dutch one on one and add an acid like lemon juice. I made these before using Dutch cacao not adding anything and was not happy with the result.
So far I'm thinking using Dutch and substituting the baking soda with baking powder. Any suggestions are very welcome!
I'll be very curious to find out what the results will be Karen! As mine were also made with dutch cacao (being Dutch and living in Holland too) and not very nice at all.
Deletei made them w Dutch cocoa, and used 3/8 tsp bk soda and 3/8 tsp bk powder. Also, i bloomed the cocoa in hotm water instead of adding it to the dry ingredients. I hope you get this reply on time.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hanâa! Postponed until tomorrow, this afternoon friends dropped in with left over cakes from their party.... so no baking today.
ReplyDeleteI will try the blooming, I read about it on my search for an answer.
Aargh... What can I say? Only that I did bake these. Three times!! My post is finally up now and I'll go hide in a dark corner.
