I loved these. They catered to my love of all things French and also reminded me of my mom's cream puffsRaymondwww.yjdesserts.wordpress.com

An update. I served these first as suggested - frozen. Then I thought - since the little cookie top is crunchy - so I reheated the puffs before filling. I cut them and baked them just until crunchy. I had scooped the ice cream into balls and kept them in the freezer, then put them into the toasty puffs and drizzled warm caramel over -absolutely perfect. Rave reviews all around.
I was very happy with the rugelach. I have wanted to try them for a long time but never got around to it. Now that I know how easy they are and how good, I'll be making them oftenhttp://yjdesserts.wordpress.com/2010/12/06/maple-pecan-medjool-date-rugelach/Raymond
